Also amid the crazy of yesterday, I found out the Babes are doing Macbeth in the spring.

Don't care that it would be my FOURTH Scottish Play. Don't even care that I already did the male role thing (Malcolm, albeit as a woman) in the last one. (Relevant because this will be an all-female production.) I am SO THERE.

A couple days back, Marc Grapey offered this sage advice on the Steppenwolf blog:

1) Acting is re-acting. It’s true. Don’t react to anything on stage. You are dead.

2) All great actors listen to their scene partners. You can listen, but you can’t hear. Once again, you are dead.

Finally got around to typing this up. Yes, in between pummeling, stabbing, shooting and biting one another onstage, ( this was the sort of thing going on backstage. )

Closing night had great energy and a packed house (including, to my pleasant surprise, the lovely tylure and a couple of her friends).
